Nomination Bracelets

I bought one of these today for my mum for Mother's Day. And she bought one for me for my birthday!

I'd never heard of them until I saw a friend wearing one on Monday.

They are quite cheap compared to Pandora (and very different). The standard bracelet was only £11. The links range from £18 upwards.

You buy the bracelet and then buy the individual links. As you buy a new link, one plain link is taken out which you keep. Then when you have no plain links left in your bracelet because you have replaced them with the charm links, you have a plain bracelet to start all over again with!

I shall wear mine on the same wrist as my Pandora - they look quite nice together.

It rang a bell with me too but I'm glad you've mentioned it Debih. :D

Don has been on at me to think of a present for our 25th wedding anniversary and I've been really stuck but I like the sound of this.

Can you buy the bracelet and charms in shops in the UK or is it only online?

I wear a very plain silver band bracelet (I never take it off actually) that he bought me for the millennium eve and I also have my treasured Tiffany bracelet he bought me for my 40th.

I quite fancy a nomination one and would wear it on my left arm.

I bought mine in a little independent shop in our small town Ally.

Check their website - I'm sure I saw a stockists tab.

Hello I was about to say I have one, then saw Di had beaten me to it.

I love mine, I wear it all the time. It is flat so doesn't clunk on the desk at work. It doesn't have a clasp so no danger of losing it. I need to buy a new charm for Luke's bungalow. Will have to have a look.

I followed up one link and the basic bracelet was £50 - £120. I can't see that as being inexpensive.

Nice idea for you and your mum Debih :) They are attractive, and rather different 8-)

That link about B's Chamilia bracelet was nice to read again, she wears it for work and it looks lovely against all the black she has to wear :)

I buy all my Pandora charms from this firm. Free delivery and it usually arrives the

Thats what we did yesterday Lissie - bought two charms and got the bracelet free.

I quite fancy getting them for the girls but although the bracelet is quite cheap once the new charms are added they become worth quite a bit of money and at the moment they are both terrible at losing things (mainly in their bedrooms) so maybe I will leave it a while - perhaps that or something similar for their 16th birthdays.
