New padded coat.

From Marks &Spencer. I bought it online, with my Christmas money. It just arrived, and is so warm and cosy and it will get a lot of wear as I walk everywhere! Mine is the Dark Gold colour :)

I need one of these too Kaz - that looks warm!! I have a red parka style coat with a fur top half but I've had it years now and it's starting to look its age.

So was my old black one   I just wore this up to Sainsbury's, the car park was thick with freezing fog but I was toasty warm. It's also very lightweight!

I really like that Kaz, but I would like the magenta, but not only was it half price, it is for obvious reasons, out of stock

That’s really nice.

I bought myself a new down puffa jacket this Winter. I’d had a Columbia one for quite a few years and it was toasty warm and it took me a while to find a replacement that I liked but I’ve been out in minus temperatures today with just a ¾ length sleeve t-shirt on underneath it and I was very warm.

The magenta is nice, no wonder it was out of stock at that price!

Jo I've never had a down coat before, I can't believe how warm and light it is! :)

Osc I love the colour too :)

Bear in mind that you might moult a bit. Some feathers seem to find their way out but if you see any poking out just push them back in.

Horrible to say this but it amuses me when people say that they’ve seen a white feather so they must’ve had a visit from an angel.
It’s probably just someone’s down jacket shedding ;)
