Eyebrows and Volumising hair powder

Di and I were having a conversation on Facebook on a thread of Becky's LOL about eyebrows As you do I was saying how the make up lady on Wednesday filled in my eyebrows really nicely using brown eyeshadow and an angled brush I've always had sparse brows, ever since I plucked all of mine out aged 13 to pencil in a thin line, as was the fashion - they never grew back properly For years I have either not bothered or used a bit of pencil, but this method the lady on Wednesday used is great. She said you can buy brow kits with powder and a brush in but really there is no need, any matt brown shadow will do. I've tried it myself since and it's really easy - and they look very natural
I'm also pleased with the hair powder she showed me too - well the version of it that I bought anyway. She used an IQ one but I bought a Batiste one in Superdrug, it was on the shelf next to the dry shampoo It's a volumising/pluming up powder, it comes in a little tin with a sifter lid, like talc, and you rub a little into dried clean hair to give the roots volume..............it works particularly well on layered hair as it lifts the layers. My hair is very thick still, she remarked on that, but very fine in texture with no natural curl or volume whatsoever - so this stuff is miraculous for me
