There's a fab little vintage clothes shop tucked away neatly very near Malaga bus station.

Don wanted to go in yesterday - so we did.

He bought nothing.

I got 2 fab dresses.

One is a simple sleeveless shift dress, 60's style, pale blue with two pockets on the front. €7.

The other is a sleeveless aztec stretchy fitted number. €4.90.

Bargain! :D :D :D

Wow they certainly were :D :D I have a stretchy aztec one with little capped sleeves, it looked ok last summer but this year it's just a bit too stretched, unless I wear a jacket over it :? Will look amazing on you 8-) :) :)

I have an aztec dress which I wore last year on holiday. I took it with me this year but when I tried it on it went straight back in the wardrobe and came home unworn. I looked like a sausage.

You got good bargains there Ally. I'm sure they will be lovely on you.

I must tell you about my best bargain ever in the world.

About 3 years ago I was in C&A (not sure if they're still around in the UK?)

I found a black stretchy dress with what looks like Polo Mints  all over it - I fell in love with it on sight. 8-)

It was reduced to 4 euros!!

A couple of days later I went back into C&A with Don and the dress was reduced further to €1.79!!! :o :o :o

So I just bought it thinking if anything ever happens to the first one I have back up.

It's/they are still one of my favourite dresses.

Now that WAS a bargain.

How I wish I'd bought two of those Biba cardis all those years ago :D
No, C&A have long gone here - we saw one in Tavira but didn't go in (it was the day we walked there, we needed beer not shopping!)

Your buys sound lovely, didn't you get something there before?

I'd never visited this shop before Di - last year I stumbled across a vintage shop up near the Rosaleda (Malaga's footy ground) and that's where I bought a cream lace dress and a dress with 50's style ladies on it.
Both were 12 euros each. :D :D

I've been googling and found another vintage shop about 15 mins from Malaga centre..that'll be getting a visit from me soon.

What were the Biba cardigans like?

Ah that must have been it - ooh yes, have a go at all of them :)

It was patchwork Ally, lots and lots of different colours in little squares, most of them mottled/mixed colours - I remember lots of purple, orange, red...
Very plain design, just a v-neck and long sleeves, but quite thin, and with all those colours went with everything :)
One of those things, I didn't know when I bought it just how much I'd wear it :D

Biba is back in House of Fraser :D :D :D I got a scarf there, it was all I could afford  :P

Ally I used to love C&A, me and my schoolfriends used to get the 203 bus to Hounslow on Saturdays and C&A was always on the agenda :D 8-)

Kaz - mum makes a beeline for C&A when she comes over here. :D :D
