Root cover up

Postby miasmum » 22 Mar 2015, 12:48

Fed up of the endless root regrowth and the hassle of colouring my hair in-between hair appointments so thought would try this

http://www.amazon.co.uk/W7-COVER-ROOT-C ... t+cover+up

I bought the dark brown and also the black as my hair is very dark these days. It has good reviews, so fingers crossed

Well its brilliant. It really covers up that awful badger stripe along my parting. The one I was looking at was nearly £25 and this was under £4.00 and I now have a 20% off voucher for my next purchase and I certainly will be purchasing it again. Really pleased

Ooh lovely!! Really glad it's done the job! 8-) :D Now I am so grey it takes a while for my regrowth to show as it blends into the blonde, but it still needs doing - as much to give it condition and body as to colour it 8-)

I need to do mine before we go, that's easy enough, 15 minutes in the shower ;) However, I was also hoping to get a fringe trim before Sunday, but I feel too rotten for a trip to the hairdressers :? They have a hairdressing salon at the hotel, but I bet it's expensive - the spas and beauty treatments in these hotels always are, it's how they rake back money on the all-inclusive I think. The hotel in Corfu wanted over 150 euros for a hot stone treatment!

One of the women who is going - the bride's best friend - is also her hairdresser - I wonder if she's taking her scissors and would give me a quick fringe trim? I know she is doing Marina's hair for the big day

I'm sure she will Kaz, although thinking about it will she be able to take her scissors on the plane?

You can pack them in the hold ;)

I did remember to tell D about it, and have just sent her the link :)
She has (well, had!) very dark hair, although she colours it all sorts of different shades - she was really interested.

No good at all for me, I don't have enough grey, it just shows through all over :D

In the end I hacked half an inch off it myself, with my nail scissors  It actually looked ok ;)
