Sepp Blatter is being questioned by representatives of the Swiss Atourney General, and criminal proceedings are being brought against him.

Yes, and it looks like they are trying to implicate Platini as well ....

Platini was considered to be the natural replacement for Blatter, but he won't get it now. What an absolute mess, and still Blatter hasn't resigned.

FIFA has been a corrupt organisation for many, many years. Hopefully someone will sort it out now.

He is indeed. But now FIFA's main sponsors like Coca Cola etc are telling Blatter to go.

Trouble is, FIFA has been so bent for so long and so many people in it have had backhanders - who is fit to take over from Blatter?

I though Michel Platini, but that £1.3 million payment in 2012 for work he had done for FIFA nine years earlier? That looks very dodgy.

Talk about a limpet. But if they cut off a lot of the money then I think he will eventually have to go. He wants to hang on and get his usual VIP treatment through the world cup, that's what it is. I think Platini's goose is cooked quite honestly.
