He's won things, yes, but often with the previous manager's squads. Ericsson and Capello also won things and were disasters.

What England needs is a manager to pick the best players and play them in their best natural positions by finding a system that works for them. He does not heed "his" system and shoehorn players into it.

What he also does not need to do is pick the media's favourites from the top sides such as Kane, Grealish, and others, then fit the rest around them.

Tuchel might be that man.
