Complete madness

So Lewis has a gear box change and gets a 5 place grid penalty

Hulkenberg gets released with the car in an unsafe condition and gets a 3 place grid penalty

Complete rubbish. Force India could have killed someone. I think they should get the highest penalty going, and if that is to not let the whole team race then so be it. Tyres coming off and bouncing down the track is one of my big fears and the teams should be penalised for it

I missed this Shell, sorry.

Wheel tethers were introduced because drivers, fans and marshalls had been killed by these missiles hurtling any and every which way; remember Ayerton Senna?

A suitable punishment for me would have been to take both Force Indias out of the race weekend until they could prove the problem solved. If they could do that at the weekend then start both from the back of the grid.

The stewards have been inconsistent for many years. The other week Hamilton was driving around with bits of bodywork flapping about and should have been brought in for it to be fixed or taken off. It did eventually fall off and onto the track... a racing danger. Same with drivers whose front wing gets damaged. It should be a mandatory nose change, no questions asked.

Absolutely, tyres flying down the track is one of my big fears and yes I do remember Senna, very very well. Tyre tethers never seem to work and nothing ever gets done about it. As you say the same as bits of body work flapping around. They make all these rules and issue all these penalties, but when it matters they seem to turn a blind eye
