What? Who? ;) :-P :D :D :D

The best bit undoubtedly was the BBC cameras rapidy panning away from Cameron when they suddenly twigged that Salmond was standing behind him waving a Scottish flag ...

From crouching under the headmasters table in Dunblane to winning the US Open and Wimbledon, Murray has had a long and courageous journey.

Salmond may be one of the world's biggest prats and I do wonder how much he had to pay for exactly that seat, however I do have some sympathy with his position.

Had Tim Henman won Wimbledon, you can be absolutely guaranteed that it would have been an Englishman who won the tournament and not a British player. There are times when that really grates and this is one of them.

Andy Murray has taken a strong stance that he plays for Britain and not just for Scotland. I doubt that he will be best pleased with Salmond trying to make political ground of his victory. However his was not the only Saltire in the crowd. Just the most to be avoided.....

He's worked hard for it and he deserves it. Well done.

We watched it with friend and the three men were more emotional about it than the three ladies...........we were all absolutely delighted but the men wiped away tears................

It is rumoured that he has given away the prize money to the Royal Marsden and Cancer Research. He certainly gave the Marsden his £73,000 winnings from the Queens club tournament he won just before Wimbledon.

Maybe he does deserve a knighthood.

That is a really wonderful thing to have done Molly; and how nice that he doesn't make a big song and dance about his giving to charity, either.
