So what did you make of the hoover racing?

Bet Teflon wishes he'd kept quiet instead of saying "I am hoping for wet qualifying, that is when experience shows" as he ends up behind a rookie. You've got to love the commentators, waiting until it is obvious he isn't doing brilliantly to drop that one in
Thrilled for Riccardo. Sad to see Sauber struggle so much. Really pleased the Williams seems to be continuing with it's improvement though.

Enjoyed it - good to see some new faces on the podium.
Hate the Spanish tv coverage - 5 minutes of adverts - every 5-10 minutes

Don't the cars make a strange noise?!
Rosberg could have stopped for a cig before the finish, he was so far in front. Pity about Ricciardo being disqualified. Bottas showed what he is made of. I don't know why, but it all seemed a bit flat to me. Setting off at the start of the race with half the field crossing their fingers that the car would get to the end seems wrong in F1.

We did think it was a bit of an odd race, but put it down to the new season - and new cars.
Rubbish camera work though

Lets just hope the appeal for Riccardo goes well

I quite enjoyed the uncertainty, to some extent, it kept me on my toes. Not sure why the FIA felt the need to 'knee jerk' the decision with Ricciardo, surely it would have been reasonable to look at the data from all angles before taking action?
I quite like the look and sound of most of the cars, but that DRS! The punch these cars now have once they step out from behind makes it absolutely impossible to defend - they can do it from so much farther back.
Where would Bottas have been had he not belted the wall?

Just down the road from us, probably

Yes, Red Bull say they will appeal the disqualification. Unless Red Bull are getting massive mpg, wouldn't they have run out of petrol if Ricciardo was using so much?
Who was it whose car nearly swapped ends at the start? That was an eye opener. Bottas and Massa may do well this year, possibly.

I think Kobi hit Massa and it was Massa who was left facing the wrong way.
The fuel thing is strange. There was the extra cruising lap when the start was aborted, then the safety car. That apparently left the cars with more fuel than needed to finish the race, but it would also mean other cars were turning up the wick - as Magnussen was told to do in the last few laps.
Either RB had a faulty sensor or it is heavy on fuel. That needs to be established before disqualification is applied.... and that takes time.
