Just watched the Bayern Munich v Real Madrid game.

Apart from the superb commentry in spanish - brill, couldn't understan much, but so so quick  - what on earth was BM's manager thinking? Hack them down in the first half, argu about everything and then play proper footie in the second. Why?

If they'd played their normal, proper football in the first half, it would have been a much better game - and maybe they wouldn't have lost 4-0.

Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid?

Nah - I was at Shenstone Pathfinders vs Wolverhampton Utd. in the West Midlands Regional League Div 1 .... superb fun, more missed chances (including a penalty) than you could shake a stick at, and 4-1 to the homesters in the gathering gloom (no floodlights, 18:45 kick off).

Not exactly filled to capacity though - a crowd of 21!

Watched it on ITV - Bayern V Real, that is, not Pathfinders V Wolves Utd.

There were times when Real had a six man back line, with a floater (Modric) in front of it, and all Bayern seemed to want to do was walk the ball in the net, yet Kroos and Schweinsteiger were like statues in midfield. Real simply vacated midfield and left Benzema, Ronaldo and Bale up front for the quick breaks - often 3 on 2.

It was painful to watch.

And Atletico did the same....

The first two were lucky goals, for both teams, but after that it looked like Atletico would win.

So, it's Real v Atletico in the CL final.

As a neutral, you must understand, I do hope that Atletico win La Liga and the CL. It is not impossible. :D :D :D

if as we are continuously told that the EPL is the finest in the world---why do the C.L and EUROPA finals contain 3 Spanish & 1 Portugese teams??
