Have a look at this from the BBC and tell me which word is missing from all the statements from the political great and good of the UK: the clue is that it begins with "I".

Douglas Murray, speaking on C4 News, says, unequivocally, that Terrorism has won. He points the finger at the media who largely have avoided connecting the atrocity with Islamic Fundamentalists preferring to call them common or garden "terrorists", for reasons unknown.

We ordinary citizens know why; it is so as not to upset "the community". Nigel Farage had the guts to call them what they are: A Fifth Column within our midst.

Cameron, Clegg et al make me ache.

They go on about defending freedom of speech?

We don't have freedom of speech! Haven't for years. If you work in the public sector and say the wrong word, that's your career finished.

Governments have passed laws specifically restricting freedom of speech. Incitement to cause racial / religious hatred? Hate crime by speech?

Hypocrites doesn't begin to cover it.

What I cannot understand is why there doesn't seem to be any form of condemnation of
these atrocities from the Muslim communities in this country. How are we to take that?

With complete apathy apparently. The only outspoken condemnation in the EU is coming from white westerners. Yet we are expected to condemn, publicly, any suggested offense to minorities whether real or otherwise.

Next time a football manager is caught saying "bad words" about racial minorities, he should simply say "Well at least I didn't go murdering people with assault rifles so what's to apologise for? If the people you are talking about can't condemn outright murder, then I'm not going to apologise for a bit of humour in bad taste". Then tell them to go stuff it.

That would be the very best we can make out of this tragedy. Something, I believe, the Charlie Hebdo staff would have heartily approved of.

Had a quick browse in Adsa. None of the newspapers as far as I could see published any form of Charlie Hebdo cartoon.

Steve Bell has published a cartoon in the Guardian, but it's pretty weak. The theme is "laugh at the terrorists". Absolutely wrong, they need to be condemned. And so does Islam as a religion - my opinion.

The first apologista articles from the Guardian commentators have been published; you know, the we should not react with anger, we should hold out our hands to the Islamists articles. To say the Vox Pop comments on the articles have been scathing would be an understatement - they have been incendiary! And rightly so. To give you a flavour:

The Guardian have also posted their mandatory anti-Farage article (Farage has condemned multiculturalism in two interviews today). Interesting that they haven't opening it up for comments ....

The most important thing I noticed on the Guardian was that the usual "racial apologists" were completely absent. Leaving those who feel the attitude of the Guardian editorial staff is totally untenable, a clear field to pour out their contempt.

It's nice to know that the Guardian "racial apologists" actually have limits even they won't cross...

So they are Muslims and they are terrorists and they come from the Muslim community. Is that the reason the UK has stepped up its security even though the government has stressed that there is no intelligence of an attack from abroad?

We can't unite with the peaceful Moslem communities until they condemn the attacks. If they remain silent then they must be assumed to approve. If they approve, then they should be ostracised until they don't.

Security is quite significantly upgraded here in Brussels too.
