just checking in how Millie's op went today - have you heard yet? Also is she coming home tonight or do they need to keep her in for one more night?

I've been thinking of Millie today, too.

Has her op gone ahead today and, if so, how is she doing?

She's fine. The vet said that you can see that the scarring is getting better although there is still an area that is quite tight. He thinks she will need the procedure doing another three or four times and is booked in again for Monday. :(

The insurance is almost up to its limit - we have a maximum of £4000 and are currently at just over £3600 so we will have to start paying ourselves soon. But at least the insurance was there - if it wasn't then Millie wouldn't be here now. Each balloon dilation is costing around the £100 to £150 mark, depending on what drugs are being used.

So bye, bye Kenwood Multichef (for now anyway).

Poor Millie, she must be getting fed up with it all by now (you too). Has she stopped being sick now?

Poor Millie, she's really been through it. Once its done another 3-4 times, Debs, will that be it or will she need it repeated every so often as she gets older?

Hopefully that will be it but its one of those things that could reoccur at a later date. No one knows.
