Pakistani flag flies over Rochdale town hall

Postby cromwell » 02 Apr 2015, 11:05

After God knows how any grooming scandals, include in Rochdale, Rochdale politicians think that it is a good idea to fly the Pakistani flag over Rochdale Town Hall.

Words fail me.

The voters in the borough would do well to remember this come voting day.

Well! It did not make somebody called Katie Hopkins speechless. She immediately went on the attack asking Rochdale MP Simon Danczuk what he was playing at?

The resulting spat ended up with Danczuk reporting Hopkins to the police for a "hate crime"; no surprised there, then, anything to close down debate is fair game.

I guess that many people, me included, feel that the divisive action of raising the Pakistani flag on a UK government building without the permission of the people is the real crime.

Danczuk, good British name that.

No wonder this country is in such a mess. Now, I wonder, will the famous blogger raise a million vote petition for Katie Hopkins???

Of course not because that kind of free speech is not allowed...

I'm not speechless and I think neither will be many others. It will be interesting how the vote goes come polling day. To me this seems like a race to the bottom competition between all the abuse related councils. May they all make themselves unelectable...

I read about this earlier, this week or last, in the DM when the focus was Danzuk's complaint over Katie Hopkins.

I think the flag was only flying for half an hour. Just long enough for Danzuk to get a publicity photo opportunity in front of it with the local imams and Moslem worthies.

In other words, electioneering at its worst, let alone a slap in the face to all those abused girls.

Surely it must be a criminal offence to fly a foreign flag on a public building in this country?

I know it is an offence to fly the Union Flag at half mast unless it has been sanctioned by the
responsible authority, although it is sometimes done in ignorance. But a foreign flag !!!!

Heads should roll over this despicable act.

A look at the map shows that Ogulpinar, where they were stopped, is a village at the end of the road. A goat track appears to lead to what might be an observation post; after that there is nothing but 500m of shrubland to the border - there is no crossing point.

We can deduct from that that they were making a determined attempt to join ISIS undetected.

Now they are to be deported back to the UK where their every need will be catered for for the rest of their lives - a country and culture they hate will look after them.

Not only would I not let them back I would round up the councillor and all the members of his extended family and deport them to wherever will take them.

What say you, Mr Danzcuk?

I say let them all go if they want to but never let them back into the UK. This would solve a few things for the rest of us, less militants to worry about and less for the state to educate or support financially in the future
