Don't forget to vote.

Postby Aggers » 06 May 2015, 22:07

I can't remember a general election where there are apparently so many
people who are still undecided who to vote for on the eve of a voting day.

What does that tell us about this thing called democracy? Could it be that
we are fed up with being governed by people who have taken up politics
as a livelihood for their own personal benefit, and have rarely worked in
the real world, instead of by people who come from normal walks of life?

These 'tailor-made' politicians are ruining this once great country of ours,
and need to be taught a lesson. I pray that tomorrow the people of this
country will all decide to flock to the polling stations and vote for the only
party that might be able to give us the kind on leadership that we all need.

VOTE FOR UKIP

Rest assured it'll be a protest vote here, Aggers, as wild horses couldn't make me put a cross in favour of Mr Plebgate!

For those forum members who live in marginals, and therefore do have a meaningful or a tactical vote in this election - vote wisely! ;) I'm sure you will .... :D

And therein lies the problem.

They are not "local". They represent the party. So it would make no difference if they represented a PR seat of 1million constituents or one of 1 thousand.

One 'local' MP is a Lord's son from the Derby area. He was parachuted in and sits in the Labour shadow cabinet. We have many others in this area.

No vote for me.

However I will still enjoy the show. Although my money I was paid at €1.49 to the £ is dropping alarmingly currently at €1.41 to the £. Maybe I'll wait to pay the rent until tomorrow evening.... I'm losing all round this month.
