Miliband is gone, Farage stepped down, Clegg gone. Farage may rise from the ashes with the size of the vote he created for them.
I'm less sorry for Clegg. He may have gone into government to help heal the country, but he blocked reform on critical issues and held the country back. for me it's good riddance.
had we had PR at this election, there would be a weak, poor, 3 way coalition today. I'm not in favour of those so I'm not in favour of PR.
On the tactical voting thing, it's one thing to shift your vote depending on who you want in. it is another thing to try and move the entire country to tactically vote. in the first instance all the person needs is to be aware of the candidates and who is best placed to block the person you don't want. On a national scale you need to get that information out as to everyone and then advise them what to do. That is what the two tabloids did yesterday. Basically a blueprint to keep labour out.
