UKIP feeding frenzy

Postby Workingman » 15 May 2015, 12:37

The media are like a shoal of Piranhas fighting over every morsel. Farage must go. The party will split. There is in-fighting and intrigue. Who will be next leader.......

I cannot see me voting UKIP, except in extremis, but I do see it as necessary in today's political landscape, just as the SDP and 'Gang of four' were in 1981.

If there is going to be some blood-letting now is about as good a time as any for it to happen. It will leave plenty of time to regroup before the referendum and the next set of elections. If UKIP remains, and I think it will, the smirks could be wiped off a few editors and commentators faces. Wouldn't that be good?

It would, but the next big political event is the Euro referendum; and UKIP are going to be slagged off relentlessly between now and then.

Nigel Farage maintains that there is only one person causing a rift within UKIP but that he hasn't broken cover yet. I wonder who that could be? :D

I don't think it matters, the more UKIP get slagged off the better they seem to do with the public.
