Yes good luck Debih.
Thanks MM, it was late and I was worried, didn't know if it was a mistake to give her the food, but this morning she's ok again.

Thanks all and thanks for telling me your troubles Di. It does help to know that you aren't alone doesn't it.

No news yet. I took her this morning and had a really long chat with Dan. He said that he would investigate every option we had in respect of treatment for the stricture, including prices, hospitalisation, etc and would then knock her out and get a camera down her throat to see what he could see, to see if the regurgitation had done any damage over the weekend or if the stricture still looked as wide as it did on Thursday when he last dilated it. If it looked good he would go ahead and dilate again but if it had closed up again he would ring before he did anything to have a chat about what to do.

I left him Micks number - I had already spent half an hour blubbing on his shoulder - and he said that he would probably ring late morning.

So far I haven't heard anything from Mick so I assume that either Mick is waiting to tell me bad news when he sees me or that Dan hasn't rung yet because a) he hasn't had chance to do anything yet or b) he looked at it, found all was okay and has gone ahead and dilated again. They don't usually ring until she has come round.

I could ring Mick and ask if he has heard anything yet but I think he will ring me as soon as he hears so I shall just continue to wait.

I rang Mick and he hasn't heard anything yet.

I am very tempted to ring the vets but I also really want them to speak to Mick so I have decided to keep on waiting.

I am now assuming that no news is good news. :?

Oh blimey Debih, I hope you hear good news soon.

Ally Minnie was terribly ill, last February I think it was. It turned out to be ulcerative colitis, not nice at all but thankfully she's only had one serious flare-up since, although quite a few small ones, which we just try and sort out ourselves.
