Top and skirt

I bought the blue stripe skirt a couple of months ago, but haven't worn it yet. I bought the navy top yesterday and it's lovely. Good quality fabric (not the usual stuff) and the neck is very flattering. I am wondering if the skirt is a tad long, what do you think? I could shorten it I guess...

Oh nice, that top does look lovely!

Not much help on the skirt I'm afraid as I don't really wear them...I do remember I had one longish and straight once, and it was surprisingly flattering.
How about trying it as it is, with whatever shoes you'd wear, then tape it up a bit and see how it looks?

I really like that, and would leave it that length

I quite like the length, and I think it looks nice. My feeling is Mr L will think it's a bit long...but...the good thing is I can turn the waistband over to make it a bit shorter when he first sees it, then turn it down again when we go out Cunning!
