Well when you can't drive you can't be quite so fussy, and I haven't caught anything fatal yet

Yer just well jel. And very fortunate to live in an area with frequent and reasonably priced public transport.

It's the best thing Mr O ever forced me to do. He made me start driving lessons when I was 17, but had he not, I think I'd still be unable to drive because I wouldn't have been interested. It was only because of his encouragement I finally passed my test - third time!

I was keen to learn Ooj mainly because when I DID use the buses, I saw young mums struggle with babies and buggies and I didn't want to be one of them in the future...I was lucky enough to be in a position to learn to drive and passed first time

Don't think I have used the bus since!

although bus links to and from said city are frequent, the fares are prohibitive and I am not a fan of public transport for the reasons Ooj gave
