Ted Heath and his alleged child abuse.

Postby Workingman » 04 Aug 2015, 17:58

It is now clear that four police forces are looking into the allegations that he was another protected paedophile.

Just how many were there in parliament down the years, and are some still being protected?

But how many police officers are being employed on this?

Ted Heath is dead. Leon Brittan is dead. Jimmy Savile is dead. They can't be prosecuted.

I understand the victim's anger and the seriousness of cover ups, but hundreds of police officers are engaged in "cases" that can't result in anything.

I understand all that, but if they are proved to have been acting illegally and their estates become liable for compensation claims, and State honours removed, might it not make others of their type think again?

It's more likely the threat of current disclosure and shame will be the most inhibiting factor.

But don't count on it. Long after I'm dead my grandchildren will finally find out how many senior civil servants and police were part of it....

I don't think it matters one bit that they are dead or how much police time is spent on it.

Cromwell, if it were you or you're child would you not want some sort of justice? I know I would.

What I want to know is why nobody is asking the relevant question. The elephant in the room.

We trusted this bunch of arse bandits to make all those Gay Laws.....

Now, I have to shout, "Conflict of Interest"....

I'm sorry Suff but that is just not right at all! The majority of child abusers are straight males.

Homophobic views are not welcome on VV :( We have very few rules, but..................

Kaz, you know me, and you also know that I am one of the easiest going people you would ever meet. So please forgive me if I am against the last part of your post.

I do know that you have a relative who is gay, and that probably made you comment in the way you did. But please accept this; there are reasonable people who do not agree with the way previous governments have handled gay rights, they do not like gay pride marches and they are against the imposition of gay marriage.

None of that makes them homophobic, all it makes them is to think differently regarding the promotion of gay rights.

I'm not homophobic and I have no issues with Gay's in general. Everyone from every walk of life is welcome in my life until they make themselves unwelcome.

I have issues with abuse of power for personal gain. Those who abuse their power to gain a larger pool of whatever they want, whether it's money, gay or straight sex or simply power over others lives brings out a rather strong reaction in me.

However if you see this as homophobic and I've offended then please accept my apology.
