The dreaded age spots are starting to appear! I hate them more than lines and wrinkles. My normal concealer doesn't help, but I have heard that a peach coloured one is best. Does anyone have a favourite?

I have the odd blemish, particularly two moley sort of things over my mouth at one side - both my mum and nan got them in late middle age I tried covering them but it just drew attention, so I try to highlight the good things about my appearance, my eyes I think in my case, and hope nobody notices the bad It is hard to totally cover blemishes without wearing heavy makeup, unless you get into the birthmark covering stuff......

Chances are these age spots are far more noticeable to you than anyone else? ((((((x)))))

If you do want to go ahead, I'd go for the stick matte concealers rather than the Touche Éclat type of light reflecting ones. Body Shop do a nice one, rather like a thin lipstick

I find the same Kaz, more for grey bags under my eyes than anything, but found nothing hid them, just made them more obvious So now like you I try and make themost of what I consider my good points and hope the bags aren't noticed

My rosacea gives me little bright red spots which are hard to cover. I love the benefit It Stick but sadly it's discontinued. Laura Mercier camouflage kit is brilliant. Expensive but lasts for ages and ages. Really you need to go to a department store, visit several counters, see what they suggest. Let them try their product on you but don't buy unless you're totally convinced. Say your skin's sensitive so you need to wait and see if it reacts .
Try googling best concealer for age spots to get some ideas. Of cheaper ones the original Rimmel concealer stick is pretty good, especially with a dab of powder on top to set it. It may be worth trying that first

Tbh I think if you have anything even slightly raised, you can't disguise it completely. Likewise bags/dark circles, unless it really is just slightly dark rings.
But if it's marks on the surface, like my very bright red spots, or age spots, or thread veins, then it can be done.
I have old acne scars that are little pits (I had cystic acne when I was 28, lovely), you can't do much about those but can make them less significant.
