Peter Sutherland of the United Nations

Before today I'd never heard of him either. But he is the United Nations Special Representative of the Secretary-General (SRSG) for International Migration. And his views maybe explain a lot of what is going on today.

The EU should "do its best to undermine" the "homogeneity" of its member states, the UN's special representative for migration has said.

His wikipedia entry on immigration is very instructive too.

Basically the United Nations are totally in favour of mass immigration into the EU.

The man sounds like an idiot to me.

He doesn't know what the hell he's talking about.

What fools have put him in office?

And what happens if the total population of Africa decides it is moving to Europe?

Very interesting, Cromwell. It goes without saying that his views are totally the opposite of mine, and hopefully the views of most UK residents.

I see he's Bilderberg Group.

I didn't read it all but he's using one truth to hide a different lie.

Basically what he says is absolutely right. If the UK is to remain in the EU it must submerge it's identity, encourage cross border working and accept that the EU is a country to which we are a vassal state....

Both WM and I have been clear on this. If we were to stay in the EU, then we need to be "More EU than the EU" and drive the EU to where we want it to go. Not by shutting everyone out but by opening the doors, bringing them onboard and literally driving them to where then need to get to.

It is the key and fundamental reason I think the UK should be out of the EU. Because we do not want to do it and the rest of them don't want us to either. So if we can't play the EU game then get the hell out.

BUT. And this is the big but. He is using the need to become an integrated EU as a justification for uncontrolled and unlimited immigration from the rest of the world. This is just insane. The EU already has 540 million people in it, many of whom are young, not rich and come from the Eastern states. A huge pool of cheap, well educated labour. That is what he should be talking about.

But just like any other politician. He twists one fundamental truth to try and make a case for a fundamentally wrong argument. There he should be locked up in a room and left to rot until this current crisis is over...

It is noticeable that the UN, the media and politicians, both in the UK and EU keeep on referring to these people as migrants and refugees. They conveniently forget the illegal aspects of what they are all doing.

A true migrant is one who makes an application to migrate to another country, usually from their homeland. The application is processed and either agreed or denied: very few would be allowed. A person who ups-sticks and breaks into another country has performed an illegal act and that country is well within its rights to eject them.

Refugees are supposed to claim such status in the first safe-haven they enter. Any who leave such a place must have papers allowing them to do so. If they leave without such papers they break the law. Any country they then enter has every right to eject them. The vast majority coming to the EU are not refugees or are refugees who have broken the law - those entering Greece from Turkey

It is time to apply International Law to these people and stop being a soft touch.

Stupid man! If it goes his way, all of the more affluent countries will sink under the weight and the poor or war-torn ones will be empty!!
