Do any of those of you who live in warmer climes realise how chuffing cold 13ºC is on a morning?

Wandering about in jim-jams and dressing gown till the heating kicks in is murder.

And for those of us poor souls in dear old Blighty it can only get worse till March.

So yes, I do know and I do remember

Also, do you know it's get's down to minus here too. Just north of Lisbon has already had minus figures.

Where we're moving to, they have had frost, snow and other nasties for the last 2 weeks. Just because we live in what is supposed to be a hot country, doesn't mean it can't get cold.

The 'coldest' I have ever been was in Saudi. It was 45ºC + during the day, but only 20ºC in the evening.

Yet in the Arctic Circle (Cold Lake, Canada and Bodo, Norway) -10 felt comfortable.

13 Wm, inside I presume you mean?
Well if so, why don't you have the heating on earlier then??
Once the place has warmed up it can go off again.
Our l/room doesn't usually go down below about 17, and no, we don't have the heating set to 'tropical' :)
But if it's that cold, why are you in flimsy clothes? :D
When it's cold, I get out of bed (wearing nothing) and put on tracksuit bottoms and top, with l/sleeved t-shirt underneath :)
I also have a lovely, snuggly, furry top for when it's really arctic :D

I always have a teeshirt layer on under my fluffy jumpers in winter - generally jeans or jeggings, but if I do wear a (warm) skirt I'll have thick tights on :) Indoors as well as out.

It amazes me that people (in general, not meaning anyone here) walk around their homes in short sleeves, and then moan about their heating bills or feeling cold! :?

I am available as fist humper and shifter from Jan 1st to Dec 21st 2016, if needed.

I can cook: curries and gravy are my specialities; ;) and for Grumps I know how to make an Uitsmijter - ham, eggs and cheese on toast.
