I'm in a quandary. 4 years (golly is it really that long!!). I decided I was going to stop cutting my hair (ha ha as if it was getting cut), grow all the dye out and then grow it long enough to cut and give to the cancer society to make wigs with. I have such very thick hair I figure it will make at least 2 wigs. Lol.
It was a fine "decision" while I really didn't care about my appearance, but now that I've got my life back and starting to care I think I want a nice cut and colour. I think I have about a year of growing left to reach the required length.
I made this decision when my Aunty was getting a wig while she had ovarian cancer. She has since died, and my uncle is remarrying this coming March. Part of me thinks if he's moved on, so to should I, but this was never going to help my Aunty..... I really don't know, at least indecision means my hair still grows.
