I've been eating tesco burgers and Findus lasagne.
When I told the doctor he was shocked and told me I have to watch what I'm eating.
So I've got two tickets for the Cheltenham Gold Cup...

Fellow gets home after a hard day's graft at the pit...
"I'm starving, love, I could eat a horse!"
"That's good" says the wife "I have done you a Findus lasagne for tea."

Lol!
Oh well, joking apart; someone who used to work in the abbatoir business said that in the main UK abbatoirs tend to stick to EU rules whilst some foreign suppliers see them as things to aspire to, not rules.
The thought does occur though that a dead horse is worth virtually nothing compared with beef cattle.
So somebody somewhere is making a lot of money out of this scam.

Not too long ago, does anyone remember the rumpus that ensued because ex racing horses were being sold to the French?
