Biscuit help, please.

Di's hobnob thread prompted this.... :o

I used to make butter thins but have lost the recipe. It was a sort of thick batter and a dsp dropped on greaseproof or parchment was enough for one biscuit - of course, I made loads more than one!

Any help much appreciated as I canot find anything remotely like on the 'net.

I've tried. I know I've seen recipes that sound similar but have been through Delia's and a huge section in another book and keep seeing 'roll out' etc.
Anyways, more to go - Good Housekeeping for one - but I really do have to go shopping now!

Di, Good Housekeeping was my cooking bible, sadly gone now. That might be the place I got the bater version from.

If not, no big deal, thanks anyway. Enjoy your shopping. :D

I cannot remember who made them but they had butter thins, ginger thins, vanilla thins.... They were round and only about 3mm thick, if that.

Bater in my last post should read batter btw. :P :P :P
