Yes, it lost a council and 25 councillors in England, but that's not too bad for a far-left or loony left party, as the BBC would have us believe it is.
And, yes, it was driven into third place in Scotland, by of all people, the Conservatives, losing 13 seats in the process, but whisper it quietly, coming first in Scotland the SNP also lost six seats and no majority.
In Wales it lost one seat, and an overall majority, but is still the largest party.
Overall the results are not bad for a party predicted to implode and be wiped off the political map. I have no liking for Labour and have never supported it, but I think the results are good for democracy and a warning to other parties not to take the electorate for granted.
