I'm just sitting here waiting to see that ~500k difference tip over towards 1M. It's going to need to with the Birmingham and London votes to come.
I was surprised by the Oldham vote and some of the others in the West Midlands. Especially the size of some of them.
Shaz, all the family up here is solidly Remain so I never really got a feel about the potential for Leave. Ditto all our dancing friends were concerned about Leave.
I do think there has been some disengagement in Scotland about the vote. Also the Scottish position of better out of the UK where we are one of 4 and better in the EU where we would be one of 28/9, was the SNP's weakest argument in the Indyref. So it can't be easy for them to make that same argument again to those who didn't believe it at the time of Indyref.
Literally those who bought that argument in Indyref are unlikely to have changed their minds so easily.
