There is no doubt that singing in a choir is a wonderful experience and I recommend it to anyone.

My parents were always singing, and that is what started me off -- Church choir (as boy and man),
Concert Party, Operatic Society, Male Voice Choir, and of course in the bath at home. My voice
isn't that good now, but I still sometimes entertain the old dears in these retirement apartments
with some golden oldies from the 1930s (There's now nothing wrong with my long-term memory.)

It's a pity we can't start a Vocal Voices Choir.

It was at Lincoln Cathedral for the 900th anniversary back in 1972, I was 11 and a dot in the distance at the back. I could probably find me if I looked enough. I'm sure the BBC has a recording of it somewhere. I was changing from Blonde to dark hair in those days.

It was an interesting experience though and, yes, that kind of choral experience is quite dramatic.

I think I could knock you both into shape.

I would make you both sing and dance - given enough time!

So could I with a bit of practice, it's not too long since I last did waltz at least.
As for the singing though, sadly not. I don't need knocking into shape, but my voice is unshapeable :D
