Morning all, nice looking day here. The children will be arriving shortly and that will be us busy for the rest of the day, plus Mr Osc will hope to watch as much of the British Open as possible - can't see Miss Kellie allowing much of that though  Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all :)
Lovely here, some clouds but only white ones, towels all out drying. Still not what you'd call summery though, I've still got long jeggings on. Yesterday started lovely so I put on crops but changed mid-morning back into long!
Off to collect new glasses this morning, purple ones :)
And to have the horrid chilli drops in, as they wanted to do a thorough job and since it's free why not :)

Tiles going on is exciting Ton :)
Have fun Kaz, do you know where you're going?
Have a good day all

Morning all :D A lovely lovely sunny start to the day here as well and meant to stay like this for a good few days - yiippeeeeee

Kaz, the journey in was OK, thanks x. Admittedly a bit slower than usual once we left Surbiton but we pulled into Waterloo with 'only' 15 mins delay so it could have been loads worse. Interestingly enough we were told the delay was due to signalling issues - nothing to do with a fire. Safe journey home for H - glad you had a good week with him.

Usual work day for me then nail appointment this evening which will be lovely.

Ton, looking forward to pictures of it once the surround tiles are down - bet it'll look absolutely fantastic. xx

Have a lovely day all xxxxxx

Morning all :D

Nice and sunny at the moment.

We've got the woodworm peeps here right now, major disruption again  They're doing the loft, lounge, spare bedroom and hallway today and will be back again in a couple of weeks time for the rest. Thank goodness it's not toxic like it was years ago when you had to vacate for at least 48hrs!! They reckon each room will dry out in just 2hrs or so at this time of year so fingers crossed.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good afternoon all.

It's lovely and sunny here. After my morning walk I've been sorting out my large CD collection, while Mrs A is out playing Bridge.

This afternoon we are going to buy a new wardrobe, as our old one has decided to start falling to pieces, bulging at the seams !

Hope you all are having a nice day.

Good afternoon all :D
It's quite bright here so far! I've been to the gym and then popped into town to pick up a handheld fan for Tom - he's off to London for the day on Monday so thinks he may need one  Billy's had a lovely long walk since and Joe and I are just having lovely salads for lunch. Tom's gone into Birmingham to meet some uni friends so says he'll be late.

Tom asked if we wanted to go to the hotel nearby for a drink last night, his treat he said. He had enough cash to buy three bags of crisps  We sort of had our evening hijacked by the woman who works behind the bar and her (always) drunk husband though. She's really lovely and I do like her but she came and sat with us between customers as it was so quiet, along with her husband, and she started asking why she always sees me walking everywhere, then it was the old twenty questions about why I don't drive, and then why I don't work and what do I do all day, do I get bored, then she wanted a breakdown of how I spend the day....Aaaargh! Maybe I should've asked her why, when she lives a 5 or so minute walk from work, she always drives there ;)

I've got the downstairs windows to clean shortly. We seem to have lost another window cleaner. Yet again, a young lad with a company van and all of the cleaning equipment who came three times but hasn't been back since February.

Safe journey home to H - that week went quickly Kaz!

Have a good day all!

It's a hard life, but someone has to do it ;) This is Highfields Garden Centre Di, a few miles out of town. A nice little journey in A's little sports car :D 8-)  We sat outside for a drink and a snack lunch :)

Ria, I'm glad you weren't too delayed :) Enjoy your nail appointment 8-) :)

Jo, it has flown by! What a nosy old bat, in the pub! :o As a fellow non-driver I very much empathise, people seem to feel they have the right to demand why you don't drive, and I also get asked why I don't work, although lately not so much as I creep up towards early retirement age :P

Aggers, have a good day :) Hope you find a wardrobe you like.

Hello Vic :)

It will soon all be over Jen, bet you can't wait!!
