The flower saga

Postby tonicha » 14 Jul 2016, 13:51

Julia ordered some flowers to be delivered to me on my birthday - no delivery. So I e-mailed the company and also sent a message on facebook, she also e-mailed them.

No response.

By yesterday afternoon, e-mails were pinging backward and forward between me and the company.

This morning, another (about the 10th  ) saying that the delivery driver would ring me and could I give him directions - having already sent them twice, to them and also to the delivery company I was getting a trifle peeved.

She asked me to take some photos and send them, if I wasn't happy,. I said that I'd rather just not accept delivery, but she wanted me to take delivery and then photos.

So, phone call from driver - he's in Ourique, he knows where the bar in Encalho is, can I meet him there   So if he knew where the bar was, why not use a little commen sense and ask them there, where we are, rather than just not bother

So we meet, I get the box of flowers - he told me that the phone number was wrong and that is why I didn't get a phone call on Monday. The phone numbers are very different, I have no idea where they got that one from - another order probably.

Anyway, back I get home and so sad to see what obviously where a lovely bouquet of flowers, all sad, wilting and dying.

So e-mail the company - and my wifi is playing up, so could only send a couple of photos.

Another e-mail pinged straight back - we're sending you another bouquet :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

And Julia is getting her money back :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

To be honest, I don't send flowers any more, they cost so much and are often not worth it. Glad you are getting a fresh bouquet though :D
