Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 24 Jul 2016, 05:53

Good morning. :D

Scorchio. :D 8-) 8-) 8-)

I slept last night from 11.15 right through to 7.45 this morning and was still in the same position I went to sleep in!

A swim this morning then I'm on the lilo in the pool reading again. Or under a tree in the shade.

TV tonight and the recorded Masterchef. So far I've avoided seeing who was knocked out.

Have a great day everyone. :D

Morning ally it's cloudy and cool here after a humid night
Had a huge moth in the bathroom
They frightened me to death
Just managed to open the window and it's gone

Hope everyone has a good day

Good morning all - sounds like you needed that sleep Ally!

Just about to walk Billy, Tom's just left for work, John's going out on the Chase on his bike and Joe's still in bed. Not sure what the plan is for this afternoon. I quite fancied going into Birmingham but the Aston Expressway is now closed on weekends for the next few months and apparently it was absolute gridlock yesterday. Listening to the radio yesterday, a presenter said it had taken him 90 minutes to get from Wolverhampton into the city centre. We don't necessarily need to use the Expressway but our other routes in are now diversion routes.

Have a good day all!

Morning all. Looks like it's going to be nice again. Nothing major planned for today other than packing and reading.

L had friends sleep over last night and they are off into town this morning until I pick her up at 1pm to come home and do her packing. She's driving me insane at the mention - full of 14 year old attitude. It's interesting as although she really winds me up it doesn't seem to bother Mick as much, whereas he despairs at S and that's like water off a ducks back with me. Personality clash obviously.

Cloudy but still warm.
Another day just pottering.

Are you sleep posting?
Have a good day everybody

Morning :)
Lovely again here :D
Ally I love it when that happens! :) I haven't watched Masterchef yet either, also happily ignorant.

Cruiser Ally lives in Spain, there's a time difference ;)
Well we had a terrific time, it was heaving but we got a jammy parking place on the road on the way into the village.
We started off in a lovely spot under a tree (it was still hot), on our blanket, had a beer each (coolbag), enjoyed most of Dorsal Fin, then it was Saints of Sin. Good and loud, heavy rock, did a pretty good version of Uptown Funk :)
While they were on we had yummy Thai food, the local Thai restaurant were constantly ferrying new supplies :D
Good prices too.
Then we packed up and took the coolbag etc back to the car; once the Saints finished it thinned out a little so we eased ourselves to a good position much nearer the stage.
Standing room only, and that got debatable :)

Zac and the Zeros were good, rock and roll-type well known hits from the '50s to now, but including a few like Teenage Kicks - always a winner ;)
Then Coldplace, and no you wouldn't be fooled, but musically they were terrific, and had lasers and everything :D
Much drinking was of course being done, but all good-natured, people of all ages having fun.
I bet some of those ageing hippies and rockers are feeling it this morning though - and some are going to be awfully embarrassed by pics on fb ;) :D

No plan for today, other than a shower and sausage butties, we might go back for some of today's events.
Arts and crafts plus more acts, a couple of big choirs, should be good :)
Have a good day all

Morning all, it's a lot cooler here but that might burn off later, No rain forecast, anyway ;)

Ally, no wonder you were tired!

Glad the moth left by itself, Saundra. I'm not terribly keen either, too fluttery :?

Morning Cruiser - as Di said, Ally's posts show our time but she's an hour ahead ;)

Ouch Ton, hope they heal soon, I hate blisters! xx

Di, that all sounds a-mazing, so glad you had such a good time 8-) 8-) 8-)

Sunday food shop here, then home to either sit out on the decking if the sun comes out, or catch up with the last couple of episodes of The Living and the Dead on the iplayer, if it doesn't 8-) :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx
