Jo, Ally, it is the same in Leeds, say "Hello" and you have a friend for life.

Jo, that is why you get a doorstep of fresh crusty bread. It is to mop up the cornucopia of heavenly flavours as bacon fat mixes with egg yolk mixes with bean juice. ;) :P :P

Some people (me) cook beans in the same pan as the bacon, after the bacon is done, for an extra hit of lusciousness.

Now that's what my Mom does, she cooks the beans in the bacon fat and I've got to agree that it's the best way of doing them.
It's not really a problem for me anyway as we only have a full English at home once a year, that's when John cooks one on New Years Day and he's firmly in the "beans don't belong on a full English" camp. If we happen to be out for breakfast I always ask for no beans

Quite fancy a doorstep of crusty bread dipped in bacon fat now

Trust me Di, I wouldn't need to show ID to prove I was old enough

Apparently we need to leave the house at 8.20am, so that suggests that we have to catch a bus. I need to look at the timetable and see if I can suss which bus today. From here you can either get into Cannock and then onto Birmingham by train or Stafford, and the bus stops right outside the station.
