Strange objects

Postby cruiser2 » 31 Jul 2016, 14:57

We keep getting small plastic shell type objects in our garden. They are about quarter of an inch in diameter and one and a half inches long.
One end is pointed ad the other end is open as if it has opened when being propelled.
They do not smell and there is no sign of any powder.
Will try to photo them and put it on the Photo board.
Have not seen any children/adults in the adjoining gardens who could be firing them.
Fortunately they are not causing any damage.

Cruiser, they could be ammunition for an air operated pop-gun type toy.

I have seen similar objects in the toy section of the corner shop along with Superballs (remember them?) and soft mini shuttlecocks fired out of a spring loaded pipe thingy.

That's what I was thinking. If they're a spongey sort of plastic they might be Nerf darts.
We've had lots of fun in our house with Nerf guns. Seems like they go down very well in university halls too if Tom and his friends are anything to go by, we brought home four various Nerf guns when he came home for the Summer

I've had some fab times when visiting Karl and Nadine as well. Thomas (nephew) has who knows how many of the Nerf guns, ranging from bazooka's to smaller single shot ones. Huge fun chasing each other around the house :D

Oliver loves his, only he was disappointed when he couldn't shoot out his first wobbly tooth. The string kept falling off.
