Meeting my friend in town afterwards to be ladies wot lunch on her birthday.

Quite fancy staying in tonight and my resident chef said he'll cook dinner.

Good morning all! Lots of rain here overnight.

Can't tell you my plans for today as I still don't have a clue Tom did mention going into Morrisons 'on the way' to get a drink so that points to us getting a train as it's by the station, and Joe asked him what time we'd be home and he said around Midnight....

Good luck wiut hthe Russian student Ally and enjoy lunch.

We have a busy day ahead - Johannes is, at last, coming to look over the solar panels and then tell us how to get the most out of it - we're still finding out stuff Also the motorised one only moves to a certain extent, so that has to be sorted too.

Then we're off to Ourique to buy all sorts - lots of netting to stop next doors dogs seeing us, some for the car port to keep the sun off Hiho (bit late for that, but never mind ) a wheelbarrow, white paint and I rather fancy a deep orange for around the windows and doors.

ANd need to pop in to see Nelson, who didn't turn up yesterday

Ally, I've been meaning to ask; will you be teaching the student English or Spanish or a bit of both? Either way - enjoy x
Ton, that does sound like a busy day - hope you have a relaxing evening at least
Saundra, know what you mean - I was lucky when I was having my bedroom done in that I took everything but the bed out so I could still sleep in there; thankfully there was enough space for Pete to work around the bed and he could just move it about if needed
Kaz, enjoy Zumba and the rest of the day
and Jo - cannot wait to hear what your day turns out to be; enjoy whatever it is x


Usual work day for me and then home and will be having an early night. I'm cat sitting for my neighbour again which means getting up at 5 so I have enough time for it all... normally not too much of a problem but my brother Frank has been over from Germany and with me since Sunday; and the two of us usually just end up nattering way into the evenings. He leaves back to Germany today so I can get to bed nice and early.

Rained overnight, dry now but dull and overcast.

Enjoy your day Jo. Know how you feel Saundra, we're in the spare room for the next couple of weeks. Steve's busy today boarding the ceiling before it all gets re-plastered. Then it needs to dry out before being decorated, new carpet laid etc.

We're off to the cinema to see Jason Bourne later this morning. The trailer was brilliant, really looking forward to it.

Morning all, lying here on a sunbed, lake gently lapping beside us, watching boats and ducks and a swan. Mr Osc just put up the parasol as the sun is quite hot now. Our last day of a lovely holiday but we will certainly come back. We have been to a couple of places on the ferries, but this particular place is so quiet and peaceful that I think we would stay here again. Back home tomorrow so making the most of the sunshine today

Horray my bedroom is emulsions and it won't need a second coat
Wardrobe is back in its alcove
And set of draws
The bed just wants moving forward to wallpaper only 2rolls
Clean curtains to put up
And the pc desk put back in later
To be honest I don't really use my big pc
I use my kindle but it's there for backup
