Hot. Very.

No run today as I jigged my legs off last night! The Kaiser Chiefs were absolutely fantastic!

We (well Boss Lady! ) blagged our way to the VIP area and got right down to the front. No zoom needed on my photos thank you very much.

I got back to our town at 12.30am and was on such a high I whatsapped Don to come and meet me for a drink - which he did. We got home at 3am.

I woke at 8 this morning with 'I predict a Riot' still ringing in my ears.

Today will be spent in or around the pool.

Good morning! It's a sunny one in the Midlands!

I knew you'd have a brilliant time Ally!! They put on quite a show don't they, and Ricky's a tad hyper on stage isn't he!!

I'm off out with Billy in a minute, John's out for a bike ride this morning and then it's off to a garden centre to try and find some inspiration for my Mom's birthday present. Tom's working 3-11pm again.

Jo it's trying to be a sunny day here too, but it's rather windy and there's more cloud about that yesterday - so we'll see Food shopping later, then either catching up with stuff on the player or sitting outside if the sunshine wins over the clouds

That's me jiggered again - we start at 7.00, as it's a little cooler, but I swear that pile of gravel grew overnight Too hot now to shovel it and move it, so I'll be rock picking, I think, when I've had a gallon of water.

We have friends coming over for a nosy sometime today, Judy and Carlos from down the bottom of our field and Antonia too

Blimey, shoveling gravel in hot weather sounds like hard labour to me!

I have to clean the car out today, it's a bit like a wheelie bin inside. Apart from that not much on. Have a good day everyone.

Morning all

It's a bit overcast here, hoping the sun comes out as Z and the boys are coming here for the day. The plan is for us all to walk along the beach to the harbour so the boys can have a good paddle along the way and get nice and wet

Evening Had the children overnight, they were as good as gold. We went to bed early after our late night on Friday but I don't sleep too well when they are here plus of course it was an early start today The weather was weird, quite breezy, lovely and warm when the sun was out but cool enough when it went behind a cloud. We had a picnic-style breakfast on the terrace which they enjoyed, and later on we went to the playground, then to the ice cream shop. I was laughing because two of my teenage boyfriends came in with their grandchildren to get ice cream I can honestly say that Mr Osc has worn way better than either of them

Miss Osc and SIL collected the children mid-afternoon (they brought yummy cakes ) so after they went, I had a serious 45 minute nap . We've had our dinner and I suppose it will be lots of sport for the rest of the evening.

If sat out side alot the roses are very battered
If been on line and brought 2 iron container to stand my geraniums in there pots are getting blown over
And these are like old fashioned baths
Can get 3in each
Feel like going to bed it's all this Sun but it's sport then dragon's den
