Really annoyed, the carpet man didn't turn up and when I rang his wife had no record of the appointment! :shock:

Himself was out, fitting a carpet elsewhere. Luckily I could point her in the direction of the Facebook convo I had with S on his company's Facebook page, so she could see the appointment had in fact been made!She was very apologetic, and he's coming tomorrow instead, but I am a bit cheesed off :roll:

If it wasn't for the fact that we've used him before, so know he's very good and also very reasonably priced, I think I would have told her to forget it :roll:

I had to wear a hoodie over a long sleeved t shirt when I walked Billy at 4pm. It was too cool to spend an hour outside without. We've had no rain though.

Carpet fitters. I know, Kaz, worse than deliveries ... "We'll be there between 12 and 4". Yes, but which day and week?

And what about umbrellas for Saundra and Jo's weather? I don't buy cheap. I have a Maxfli Golf, an unknown but expensive fibreglass frame job, and a supposedly 'windproof' Totes.

I might as well not bother for the time they last. :roll:
