Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

All the repairs and prep work ready for the floor tiles has now been done in the kitchen. It was a very long and painstaking job, some of the joists needed replacing and lots of the floor boards had to be reinforced. Steve's still got to do the same in the hall, lounge and bathroom. Today he's planning to fit the new radiators in the bedrooms and later make a start on marking out and beginning to assemble some of the kitchen units. Terry's made a start on repairing the side access and he's a third of the way into laying the patio. All beginning to take shape, but we're still some weeks off completion.

I'm off out for coffee with the ladies this morning and E's going to join me later for lunch. I've been busy scouring the web for restaurant vouchers and found one for Prezzo, buy one main and get the second for £2.95 so that's our choice for today. The treat element of eating out is definitely gone, now it's just a case of where can we go without breaking the bank, it's also nice eating something that doesn't taste of plaster dust!!

Hope you all have a good day :D

Jen - it's a shame you cant 'borrow' someone's kitchen for the day and make and freeze a whole load of meals. :D

As much as I love eating out I'd get fed up too if I had to do it every night for weeks.

Morning all :)

Enjoy your day at the Feria Ally :)

Jen, you must be soooo fed up with all this by now. Hope you have a lovely morning out with the ladies (((x)))

It's a bit cloudier here today, but dry. Might burn off later, the forecast was warm ;) Anyway, I am seeing my client later this morning, then it's zumba tonight, so a busy day :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning you two

Prezzo is yummy Jen - we have one up the road from work and I sometimes meet a friend there for lunch as I have a Taste card which gives me 50% off meals at some places; Prezzo being one of them. But as Ally says - could you maybe over the weekend go somewhere to cook up a storm and take home with you to freeze? You're welcome to come to mine if you want :D

Ally, enjoy your day in Malaga; I was wondering if you'd be the first person on the Good Morning thread - ;) I'd still be in bed and have a lazy lie in

Kaz, enjoy the Zumba and the client; so glad that's still going on - are you enjoying it?

Usual work day for me and then relaxing evening at home. I've still got a bit of the hedge to do, but have now totally run out of anywhere to put the cuttings; but I've taken about a good meter off the top - so much more manageable. A neighbour kindly let me fill their garden waste bin, mine is full and I've also got two green garden waste bags that are full. I may see if I can come in late tomorrow morning and take them to the tip first thing; they're expecting rain as of Friday and I'd rather not have to put wet bags into the car.

Have a lovely day all, enjoy whatever it is you're up to x

Good morning all bit dull here so I won't be sat in the sun
Had an accident yesterday I was by the settie and my walking stick moved and I fell on the floor I was stranded .
It took me 3hours to crawl if that's the word into the hall and open the front door and shout for my neighbours they all came running lifted me on to a kitchen chair
My leg and arm feel a bit sore but I'm ok
It's just an accident glad I didn't hurt my hip or leg
The joys of getting old I wasn't even near my phone or kindle either hope everyone has a good day ria I filled my neighbours bins after I cut my clamettis down it was never ending
Kaz good luck with your client by for now

Oh heck Saundra; are you sure you're OK?

What a worry (((((big hug)))))

Hopefully it won't happen again, but have you thought about getting one of these alarm things you can wear as a necklace so if something like this happens again you can get help quicker? 3 hours on the floor isn't good

Please take care xx

I m never far from my phone / kindle normally I was just the wrong end of the front room
I'd put more water in a vase of flowers and I must have spilt a drop and my walking stick slipped on it
A pure accident I'm sure
Thanks for your concern and ally
