Good morning Saundra & Ally.
I have been up since 5.30 a.m. Had a terrible night.
We have a problem with our electrics. Plugged a timer and lamp ito one of the sockets last night which tripped the consumer unit. Managed to reset some of th circiuts but we have not had lights upstairs and power in the old pat of the kitchen, including the cooker.
Hopefully an electrician is coming today to sort out the problem.
Lots of sunshine and it is warm.
I will definitely be having a siesta as we should be going dancing
Have a good day.

Good morning all, it's bright and warm here. I'm off out with Bill in a minute before it gets too hot for him.

I ran just over 2 miles without stopping last night, I was really pleased with that as it's a long time since I last ran properly and I really enjoyed it :D

No real plans today apart from getting a load of washing done. Tom's working at 11.30 and finishes at 8pm.

Saundra, enjoy the new Kindle - which one is it?

Have a good day all!

Morning all, it's raining here. I've been awake since 5.30am as well, we had to get up around 6am to have Mr Osc in for his hospital appointment at 8.15. It is the last of his tests and will take about an hour. He then has a consultant appointment at 2.40, so we might go home and come back. I'm armed with my book and it is not too busy or noisy, thankfully. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all :D

Lovely and sunny here 8-)

Yesterday turned out really nice too so we had a leisurely walk down to the harbour. Afterwards we popped into Waitrose for our free coffee and picked up bits for have a ploughmans type tea in the evening. The kitchen sink goes today so we'll have to eat out again later, not decided where yet, will depend on what vouchers are on offer.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all,

Saundra, I never sleep that well but a bottle of Pineau des Charente (17%), split between us last night, ensured it was long if not particularly restful. Better to try and stay up anyway than to sleep in the afternoon. It just exacerbates the situation I find.

Cruiser, do you have an old fuse box as well as the newer consumer unit? Might have thrown a fuse.

Good for you Jo. Personally I never liked running distance and never once enjoyed it; being a sprinter. Didn't mix with the Army at all...

I'm flying back to Scotland today. But first I have to sort Mrs S' printer as we put new cartridges in today and the black printhead is partially blocked again... She's coming over Thursday and needs to print her boarding pass.

No pressure as usual. Everything else is important until the day I go then all the technology is critical and no time to fix it.... <sigh>.

Have a great day all.

Morning all

Jo, well done on the run; that is good going
Cruiser, hope you get the electrics going and Suff hope you sort out all the tech things at home
Osc, good luck for the appointment and hope all goes well x
Ally, Jen and Kaz, enjoy your sunny days mooching about and doing things
Saundra, agree with Suff - try not to have a nap this afternoon that may help with a better nights sleep x

Usual work day for me - only 4 more days and then I'm off for 2 weeks; cannot wait. The a/c in our office is playing up and it's like a fridge in here; I feel summer is passing me by and I haven't had much of it  Apparently it's meant to be quite warm here today as well so hopefully a bit later I can open a window and get warm air inside ;)

Finishing early tonight; dropping off my car for it's first service - cannot believe I've had it nearly a year already. I'm getting a courtesy car for tomorrow - will be fun driving around in a car covered with Vauxhall advertising :D

Have a lovely day everyone xxx
