Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 30 Aug 2016, 05:50

Good morning. :D

Hazy but that darned sun will be lurking there for sure.  8-)

Off for a power walk in a minute then a swim when I get back.

Meeting a work colleague in town for coffee at 11.30 then (shock horror! ) I volunteered to pop into Mercadona to get some shopping. I must be sickening for something!

I'm going to make spicy bean burgers with salsa and homemade wedges for dinner tonight and watch some TV. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all :D

Up extra early, my appointment at the hospital for laser treatment is at 9, stomach is already churning I'm so nervous

It's Steve's daughters birthday and he won't be here today so it will be nice and peaceful when I get back home, even more important no extra dust flying around. He's progressing really well, the utility area is almost done, just needs tiles and flooring. We also have a sink again and one side of the kitchen is almost done, again just needs tiles and flooring. Most of the appliances are now in place and should be connected for use by the weekend.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all :)

Ally that is unusual  Don't let it happen again ;) :P   Your plans for dinner sound good 8-) :)

Jen good luck with your treatment today, will be thinking of you (((((((x)))))))

Saundra, I've been looking at the temps in Spain as H is out in Majorca at the moment, and it does look HOT! Harry is ok in high temps he was perfectly fine in Lanzarote that time, when it was over 40! Shame it's been too hot for your lot to properly enjoy the holiday :( xxx

Well it's Tuesday, but I am giving zumba a rest today as my neck is playing up a bit  I'll still walk up and see D later, as per, I don't think walking will be a problem but I don't want to make it worse by leaping about :? Hopefully it will be better by tomorrow night, so I can still go then 8-) Mick has just left for the specialist dentist in Bristol, another gum treatment - yuck, poor thing :(

Have a good day everyone :) xxxxx

Morning all, another lovely day here. A bits and pieces sort of day for me today - don't want to do a big shop this week as we will be away for the weekend but still need a few bits. Going to make "fridge" soup i.e using up veg that won't last  Might make a few scones as well. Mr Osc is going to play golf. Myrtle, our grandson is back to school today, the summer went by so quickly. Enjoy your Nanna days :D Jen, I'm glad you are close to having a kitchen again, eating out can become tedious. Good luck today. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all,

Good luck to Jen and Mick. Kaz, rest, volterol, nothing daft that I wouldn't do... Well scratch the last part

Saundra, tell them to get soft floppy hats and soak them in cold water then wear them. It helps. I use it a lot when working in 40C temps in the garden when I'm working. It was really good last year when I was laying concrete in those temps.

Myrtle1 Mrs S is doing what I call her Nana Dragon routine as some of the Grandkids are being a bit of a pain. Our biggest problem for some of them is keeping the alcohol consumption down....

I'm in organisation and move mode so it's going to be busy as I'm also trying to work. I crashed last night when I got back then woke up at midnight to go to bed again at 6am. Weather is cloudy and cool which is fine by me.

I'll be fairly busy.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all! It's a lovely one here! Billy and I had a lovely 90 minute walk to start the day. I cut Tom's hair when I got back and then he went out to meet some uni friends in Birmingham. I need to grab Joe at some point today and cut his hair too. The washing is blowing nicely on the line so that'll need ironing later and I think we're going for a run tonight. The lawns in the back garden could do with a cut too.

Hope Mick and Jen get on well today! Will be thinking of both. Hope your neck eases Kaz xx

Have fun Myrtle - how old are they?

Have a good day all!
