Awww it would've been fun!

Joe did his packing last night ready for his trip today. When he got his Prom suit it came in a nice suit bag so I expected him to out it in that. He came downstairs this morning with his backpack so I asked him where his suit was.
In his backpack.
It was quite nicely folded, I'll give him that, but he said that his suit bag was full of stuff. Nerf guns. It was full of flippin' Nerf guns

I gave his suit a quick steam and iron and put it in the suit bag. You just know though that had I not asked it would've stayed in his backpack until it was time to wear it

Looks like college is going to be as good as school for communicating.

Joe had a letter a couple of weeks ago saying he had to go for his induction tomorrow (Sept 1st) and he'd be given his timetable. He can't go because of The Wedding Of The Century so John called, spoke to this one particular lady and she said not to worry, come on the 2nd at 2pm for a quick induction. When he enrolled last week, he was told to go for his induction on Monday 5th instead.

We need to know his start date though. He has a hospital appointment on Tuesday at 9 and I need to know if it has to be cancelled or not. I emailed last week to the general enquiry address and had a reply last Friday morning saying that it would be passed to the lady who John had spoken to. I had no reply so emailed again yesterday, after the Bank Hol weekend. The lady replied this morning. She didn't give me his start date because, she said, he'll be told that when he gets his timetable at his induction tomorrow

I immediately replied saying that after contacting her she'd changed his induction date and it had changed again since then and if he has to wait until Monday to get a start date then it's leaving it a bit late re his appointment. I've had no reply since. Think I'm going to have to call her. I can't work out what the big secret is though about when a course starts. Surely it's all kept on the system?

Last December Jacob came back for 5 days. He sent me a whatsapp pic of him on the coach to the airport holding an M&S carrier bag.
All well and good.

Met him at arrivals and that was his luggage for 5 days.... the M&S carrier bag!

I think I sent the pic to Di just to show her how mad my son actually is.

Sat down at the bar earlier, munching on an ice-lolly and some of it rolled, bounced 5 times leaving lovely red splotches all down my white t-shirt and shorts, before it landed on the floor

Setting off on a holiday, a sort-of b/f and I were on our way to Gatwick, to spend half the night with a friend of his.
It was roasting hot, we stopped for petrol and got ice creams...hot, ice cream covered in chocolate, white trousers...you can guess

What a night firstly son and family landed safely at Leeds/Bradford half hour early
And seen a video of Scarlett WALKING she is one next week
And tomorrow they fly to Tenerife for a week's holiday
And think she will sit quietly on there knee for the 4/ 1/2 hour flight
