Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 04 Sep 2016, 03:59

Good morning. :D

Forecast hot again. 8-)

I woke up at 5.30am! I'll sit on the front terrace with a coffee as soon as it's light. :D :D

Not much planned today - a swim then catch up on last night's SCD.

Don's making his Thai noodle stir fry speciality for dinner. ;)

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning! It's dull here.

I'm taking Bill out in a minute, John's leaving soon for a local cycling event, a 50 mile ride organised by a local cycling and running shop. Tom started work at 5am and finishes at noon.

Lemon chicken pasta for dinner later.

Have a good day all!

Morning Ally, Jo and everyone

Rather warm already 8-)

A sporty day today - watching it, that is - the GP an then footie :D :D

Grumpy is going to vacuum the pool again - we have a mini whirlwind every afternoon and all sorts of stuff sinks down to the bottom   And crickets, trying to jump over it - then obviously don't, so I have to fish the flippin' things out

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all. Another rubbish nights sleep for me - bed at 1am (had to pick S up from work at 12.30am), sleep eventually came around 2am and then wide awake at 4.30. I'll be glad when S finally moved into college and perhaps then I will stop subconsciously worrying about it and sleep!

Mick and I are off to Chatsworth country fair today after a friend gave us some free tickets. The girls aren't coming - they are both off out with friends,

Bath and early night for me tonight I think. After Poldaek of course.

Morning all :)

Slept in until almost 9, the latest for ages! The dogs were still asleep too :o  Out in a bit to The Range as Mick wants to look for artist stuff, they didn't have what he wanted in The Works yesterday. Then we might have a cuppa and a bite out, and home to watch the iPlayer - we have GBBO and One of Us saved, for starters :D 8-) Becky really enjoyed the whale watch, she put some more photos on Facebook. When she gets home I will put some on the photo board here.

Ally have a lovely lazy day, much deserved after yesterday :D

Debih, I think you will sleep better then! ((x))

Jo I hope J has a good bike ride, and you have a good day :)

Osc, have a fab time at the wedding :D

Ton, that's the trouble with pools, well worth it though I should think :D

Have a lovely day everyone :) xx

We don't get insects in the pool but we do get leaves that waft in from the bougainvillea bushes.

Drives Don mad but I just swim through them.

He can be spotted every morning with his 'fishing net' capturing them and muttering under his breath!

Morning all :D

Windy here, it doesn't seem to know whether the sun should come out or it wants to rain :?

Sounds like you'll all be having a more exciting day than ours  We'll be swapping food over into our new fridge freezer and moving the rest into the new larder. Still can't unpack all the china as the cupboards on that side of the kitchen are waiting for more electrics to be done. Also a bit frustrating seeing the dishwasher and cooker nicely in place and not being able to use them, fingers tightly crossed they'll be operational sometime tomorrow. Other than that, it's the continuing battle with dust!!

Hope you all have a good day :D

Hope the wedding goes well, and the rain stays away too Osc! Have a lovely time!

Saundra, did you hear anything else about your friend's daughter's wedding?

Looks like we're going washing machine shopping when John gets home, mine seems to have decided that it'll only spin when it wants to. I can't complain though, it's around 12 years old and hasn't been much trouble in that time and just imagine how much washing has been done by it with two boys in the house!
