Really pleased it's all going ahead and quickly too. Hope you can get everything sorted out in time.

Well done on that deal - our buyer was happy for us to stay for a couple of months, if needed.

Sorry Vic, but I find it a bit sad that you have to move from what seems like paradise to be with your grand children.

The UK is nowhere near paradise. It is expensive and a lot of places are a bit run down. I really do hope that you are getting somewhere safe and pleasant.

Things change tho WM lives alter and people get older
Just this morning of been offered a flat in Penzance
On an exchange overlooking the sea and town
Totally impractical for me but if I was 20years younger
The answer would have been yes

Aw Saundra, yes a bit of a shame but so far from your family and as you say totally impractical xxx

Frank, if I had grandchildren I think I would do the same as Vic, to be honest :) xx

We couldn't afford to move back to the UK now and to be quite honest, I don't want to.

I can completely understand wanting to be near the grandchildren, Victor. As Kaz says, we are all different and if this is what you and Mrs V have decided, I wish you the very best of luck. Where will you live in England?
