Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 25 Sep 2016, 06:11

Good morning. :D

Forecast lovely again. 8-)

A coffee then a swim.

Going over to pick the parentals up and bring them over for the day. Can't wait to watch their faces when Jacob casually saunters into the lounge.

I've got a couple of chickens to roast and I'm doing home made wedges, salad and crusty bread for lunch. I'm so looking forward to the 6 of us just having the day together. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Aww Ally it's going to be wonderful! :D

Good morning all, it's trying to brighten up here after a wet night. I'm just taking Billy out, John's just this minute left on his bike and Joe's still sleeping. No plans at all today, might go for a run tonight though.

Have a lovely Sunday everyone! :D

Morning both :) Morning all :)

Ally, she will be thrilled! :D Have a great time :D :D

Have a nice day Jo, it sounds lovely and low-key :D

Well, we had a fantastic day yesterday at Westonbirt - what an amazing place, and I even braved the treetop walkway, which was very high for me as I don't like heights    Lovely meal out later, too - I popped a photo on the photo board, and will put some of Westonbirt on later :)

Sunday lunch for seven at 12.30 - Jeff and Jayne have a long drive back to Weymouth so will want to leave by mid afternoon, plus Mick needs to get Harry back to his dad's before the traffic gets really heavy on the motorway. Becks is going as well, to spend a few days with her dad who she hasn't seen since before she went to Canada :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all :D

Started off overcast here, but the sun's really trying to come out.

Have a great day with your family Ally, it will be lovely having them all together :D

Loved your photo's of Westonbirt on Fb Kaz, it's years since we went there, certainly before they had the treetop walkway. Glad you all had a good time.

No plans for us, intend to be very lazy and make the best of a free day.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Still very grey here - but we've moved the cala lillies that were under that ginormous tree, made a bench out of some large logs, moved some succulents and also re-potted a fern.

I was going to have a go at the fence between us and the mad dogs, but the mad dogs are out and about :cute: , so will have to leave that

Hooked out about 6 crickets from the pool, they really like going to for a swim

Really glad you enjoyed them Jen, it was a lovely afternoon, and I really enjoyed the treetop walk, which is odd as I normally hate heights  Actually it is more high buildings that bother me, I think, I seem to be ok with hills and cliffs and the like

I will pop some of the photos on the board here later :)

We've had a lovely lunchtime here - I took the easy route and got a ready spatchcocked chicken and a honey roast gammon joint from Sainsbury's, and pre-prepped veggies, and a lemon tart :) Mick left with the kids at about 2.30 and the in laws and D have not long left. They were full of thanks for the lovely weekend, so it was a success, and well worth the effort as D really enjoyed it all :) 8-)

Evening all, we were up and out early as I had ordered something from Argos and wanted to collect it before the shopping centre got too busy. Of course we had a mooch around TK Maxx, as you do ;) , got Kellie a little dress, cardi and book, might give the dress for the birthday and keep the other two until "that" date in December ;) :D I also had a list for Boots and we got a couple of other bits and pieces. Sat in the car for quite some time when we got back as my phone had lost its sync with the car - we fixed it in the end and anyway it poured rain for all the time we were sat in the car so we saved ourselves getting wet. That is the second thing that I've had to fix since the iOs 10 upgrade

Had risotto for dinner and now Mr Osc is mostly watching golf. We are being very tempted by a rather nice looking NYE break on Lake Garda :cute: :cute:
