Now  A week before you go  For goodness sake woman, what are you at! I have been planning for ages with three weeks to go, and am already thinking about possible clothes to take IF we go away for NY! Honestly, some people are just soooo disorganised  :P

I know, such a last-minute-merchant :P ;)

Good meeting today, managed to maintain from last week, despite the 'big' weekend of meals and birthday cake   Had a nice bite at the M&S café with E and J, followed by a long mooch round the shops, only been home about an hour! I got some bits for the holiday - sun screen, a couple of new vest tee shirts from Primark, some new undies for Mick, and a couple of lightweight jersey shrug cardigans from a shop in town - one black, one white - to pop over dresses in the evening. £3 each :o There are real advantages to going on holiday at the tail end of the summer - so many sales ;)

Just popped a beef casserole in the oven, so we'll be eating late tonight, but it's been a bit chilly today and it felt like casserole weather ;)

Great bargains Kaz!
Sunblock is something I need to get, LA has three and a bit weeks to cool down a tad - there was a forecast of 39c for today
I'm in Manchester with Joe on Sunday and it's an early kick off so hopefully we'll have time to go to Primark afterwards, we should be back in the city at around 3, he needs new t shirts and I could do with a few too.

We're getting a new Primark in Birmingham. The one on New St now is pretty big but looking very dated when you compare it to others (the one in Manchester is much nicer for instance) but there's an empty shopping mall just around the corner on High St and Primark are taking over the majority of that.
There's a new one opening in Stafford soon, it's much closer than Birmingham but it's far cheaper to get the train there than it is to get the bus for the 9 mile trip into Stafford. Plus you've got the advantage of a better choice of other shops in Birmingham too.

I always find it strange that Primark have a concession in Selfridges
