Good morning! It's dull but dry here.

I'm just off out with Billy and Joe's on his way to the gym, he has college this afternoon.

Bit of housework to do and a run tonight.

Enjoy the time with the family Ally!

Have a good day all!

Morning Ally, Jo and everyone

A gorgeous sunrise this morning and a lovely morning too - chilly at the moment, but will be mid 30's again later :Hi: :Hi:

Have a lovely time with the family around you Ally xx

Too hot to paint again, so we'll have to think of something else to do - we're sorting out the fencing between us and the mad dog, but the ground is still too hard to put posts in

I might have to get the duster out

Have a good day everyone ,whatever you're doing xx

Morning Ally, have another great day :D

Morning Jo, have a good day, and I hope Joe has a good afternoon at college :)

Don't overdo the dusting Ton, enjoy that sunshine :D

Well it's raining here, which wasn't forecast, so my plan of getting the washing done and out on the line before going out to zumba has changed - I'll do it later, and tumble dry it this evening instead

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny at the moment, but there's a definite drop in temperature.

Steve's here early, he's got a few bits left in the kitchen and will be starting on tiling the utility floor shortly.

We're off to the cinema later to see The Magnificent Seven, nothing could beat the original but this one has Denzel Washington so we'll just view it as another western and try not to compare.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning everyone

Ton, please send some of that sunshine here - it's decidedly autumnal now and I'm not sure I'm quite ready for it :)
Ally, enjoy the day with the parents
Jo and Kaz, enjoy your respective days
Jen enjoy the movie

Usual work day for me and then straight home. Leonie my niece is with me for 10 days; she arrived yesterday. We stayed up until nearly midnight just chatting away, far too late for me for a school night given the alarm goes off at 5.30am; I'm tired now ;) (getting too old for this). So tonight will definitely be a regular to bed night (she says confidently    )

Have a lovely day all x

Enjoy the film Jen, funnily enough I saw an ad for this yesterday and said to Mick that I wasn't sure if it could possibly be as good as the original, so will be interested to hear! :) 8-)

Ria, hope your day goes ok (((((x))))) Must have been lovely catching up with L though :) xxxx

Morning all :)
Grey, damp and breezy here, probably for the day - tomorrow dry and sunny though :)
We're both off to the hospital this afternoon, I have to drive as no doubt Bb will get the chilli eye drops. We don't know if it's just a follow-up or whether he will have more lasering.
Anyway, lovely of the hospital to co-ordinate appointments :D
He's taking advantage of not working and going into town to have his hair cut, ready for our holiday :Hi:

Morning all,

Hope everyone has a great respective day.

Ton, your solution to post holes is here....

Ria, I get that with Mrs S all the time, I wind up just going to bed.

Today I was up just before 9, shifted the concrete mix I should have done last night (alcohol intervened), then went out and bought another quarter ton of concrete mix, 6 bags of cement and two of sand for me to make my cement mix. We've got the son of our cleaner labouring in the garden laying concrete because I spend half my day job searching and half working on all the jobs that need finishing in the house. Yesterday I was making cabinets for our freezer room. One of them is on casters and provides access to the storage area behind.

Today I'll be finishing the work surfaces in the freezer room, making the last wall shelf unit and starting the work of cementing in the new flue pipe which will support the fire in the courtyard room and also the old rayburn which I’m fitting in the new outside kitchen in the second courtyard. I’ll also have to strip the back of the rayburn and weld in the tank which is loose and causing problems when someone is too enthusiastic in pushing logs in.

It was cool this morning, just as well as I was working hard, now it’s warming up.

Have a great day all.

Thanks for that Suff

We have a friend who has one, just need to wait until the mad dogs are locked up and she's back from England.

They're not about at the moment, so we've cut all the over-grown bushes and filled some gaps with bits of tree and shrub, so said mad boxer can't stick his head through the gaps 8-)
