Mathilda legged it again this morning
Grumpy started the car, as he wanted to wash it and off she went
and next doors dogs were out - all 4 of them
so she went bounding, at a vast rate of knots, into the field. Sat down, briefly, then the dogs started off again, so she just went.
Thought that would be the last we saw of her, but she came back 3 hours later, thirsty, although not so hungry.
We left her alone, as she was and is still jumpy with any sudden move, although she did let me pull off all the burrs she'd managed to get on her coat.
We got her into the box - and I've never heard such an angry cat
and Gez came up within minutes.
So off she's gone to her new home, with horses, dogs and cats.
She'll be living in a caravan for a while, just to get her used to Gez and to settle down, Gez is also going to worm her, just in case and also have her spayed, by a local vet, free.
In a couple of days, she'll be introduced to Tango, one of the dogs, who thinks he's a cat and is a right softy and then Mathilda will just have to take it from there.
She's far better off there than with us - my arms itch, my nose has hardly stopped running and I daren't even touch my eyes
