We who like motorsports love it. It is everything that F1 Grand Prix are not! Think 200mph dodgems, without the big rubber bumpers, on a circuit with gert long straights and lots of twisty bits.

Good morning all. Just back from the supermarket - stocking up on food for the next week.

We had a fabulous 5-day holiday at Blackpool. Not a spot of rain all the week, except a bit on the return coach journey.
However, one of the highlights for us was a few hours stop, on the way up, at Manchester Docks. What a fantastic
place it is, with its complex of modern architecture. We'd never seen anything like it. Blackpool was exactly what
we had expected, and the lights were fantastic. One day we were taken to the Lake District, where we went on a
boat trip on Lake Windermere. Another day we toured the Yorkshire Dales. We stayed at the old Imperial Hotel, and
were treated very well indeed. Altogether a most enjoyable break.

Afternoon all, overcast here but quite mild. We've been for a walk, nothing too strenuous though as Mr Osc is getting used to his cowboy boots again before we go away We have sorted out all the adaptors, so that is another little job done well in advance. This afternoon I might print out the various tickets we have booked and I need to do some ironing. SCD tonight. Have a good day everyone

Yes, it was, JoM. In fact we went in the War Museum, which we thought was most interesting (and brought back a few memories.)

It's a very good museum, we took my Dad up to there on one occasion and he found it interesting. Joe and I quite often call in if we have time to kill before the football.

That's a fairly accurate description, however Nissan have a couple of cars too. I've driven the track in my rental car, coming off the mountain it is a very steep twisty track that I struggled to do 60k around (bearing in mind i had to stay left as it is a public road and I was driving a rental not a race car), they go through there around 200ks. Picture a narrow windy mountainous Scottish road and your getting close. It's a very challenging track.

Race starts at 1pm and finished this year at 7:45, so it's an "event". It's 191 laps. We hold a sweepstake. Oliver was winning till the end when his car got hit with a 15 sec penalty, so mr Weka came first, and I took second prize. honest, it wasn't rigged. There were 20 in the sweepstake.

We started to watch the Japan f1 afterwards, but in comparison it was boring so it got turned off and we gone to bed.
