Just got back from watching the Town Display @ the rugby club. Actually we cheated and walked up the path by the river so we could watch it over the fields - quite a few folk had the same idea. :)
A very good display, lit up the sky and the fields with quite a few "cloudbursts".

I'm staying a 15 minute walk from Wembley Stadium and I've had fireworks going off to one level or another since mid last week with multiple fairly large displays happening over the last week.

I see that the Wembley Park fireworks and Christmas Market is on tomorrow. I might go and look. I need to find out of I have to shift my bike off the street as the parking is restricted on festival days.

We always have them pretty bad as from August bank holiday weekend until the last weekend of October our village have the illuminations and illuminated boats. For the past three years we get huge firework displays for 7 consecutive Saturday nights. Prior to that we just used to have them three times.

They are so loud. Because we are a valley and they are let off on top of one of the cliffs, they echo all around. They are so loud that they set off car alarms! They go on for 15 minutes each time. My mum lives about 3 miles away and she can hear them as though they are happening outside her window. The dog hates them and we have to drug her up each week.

And then we get the last Saturday night one and think, yeh, its all over. But no, Gullivers Kingdom do one for Halloween on the Sunday night. And then again the following weekend for bonfire night. So in an 8 week period we get 9 very loud, 15 minute long firework displays.

And then of course bonfire night starts. We aren't too affected by that - I know there is a display in the village tonight but other than that the only ones we will hear are ones that people are letting off in their gardens.

I don't even bother going out to watch fireworks any more - I'm so bored of them!
